Norwich MINI ALLOTMENT PLOTS-
GROW OUR OWN - SUSTAINABLE LIVING INITIATIVE. BLUEBELL ROAD SOUTH.
I finally did a design from the start. I needed to think about the mini plot I had 6m by 3.2m. Thought what I had plants wise, made a base map and thought about what I wanted. Used a theme, made a design, measured it out, Now it's done and it felt amazing to follow a plan. To know which bits to clear of perennial weeds (couch grass and bind weed) first. Where my perennials would go, the fruit area and the annual seed beds.
The process I did was map out the plot, do a design, slowly weed it and add in my personal compost from home as I went and then planted up areas as it was done. The soil was fairly sandy and when I moved from Norwich I moved plants to Marle Pit Road Community herb garden or to my new home.
